I just recently moved into the new property, the depiction of the property on the company site was not only accurate, but very well pictured. The staff was quick to reply and answer any questions I had. Marie and Maggie helped me from beginning to end. They helped things move along quickly and didn’t skip a beat, and both are very professional and friendly.

We recently had a major plumbing issue, where we thought WE had clogged the toilet. Our lease stipulates that if a plumbing issue was caused by the tenant, then the cost to repair is the responsibility of the tenant. with this expectation we received permission from the Tallahassee office to call a local “out of network plumber” and pay them directly, rather than wait for Palm Island to go through their process of dispatching a plumber. Upon inspection, our local plumber (found via a google search with good reviews, no BBB complaints, and the availability to respond same day) determined that there was no clog in/near the house. And they did a camera inspection of the main line-discovering a main line majorly blocked with tree roots of all sizes. The plumber reached out to Palm Island main

Marie actively will lie and gaslight. They lie about sending emails. They do not send any sort of instructions or warnings for moving out. They send AC people out who never fix the problems. They put phoney charges on your account after you move out. And regardless of how often you call and try to talk to anybody in management they will not give you a voicemail and they will not let you talk to anybody. They will hang up the phone on you numerous times.

Applied for a small home that had been listed on Zillow for rent for 50+ days. My wife and I have decent credit. However We lived with a roommate who stopped sending our money each month to our landlord (2 land lords ago) and we almost got evicted. If it wasn’t for my wife and I using all of the money we set aside for our honey moon we would’ve been homeless.. but we did and the eviction got fully dismissed. I have documentation to prove it was dismissed, I have documentation from the landlord saying they received the funds.. we stayed an additional month and paid rent again after that.. Do NOT rent with this company! They dragged us along while they were moving forward with other applicants. Had us pay the $150 to apply and then the next day they told us the house was unavailable. We had a friend call to inquire about the same property and they told her to fill out an application!! Marie was very unprofessional in making us believe we were getting the property. Just crazy.
