Oxford Manor Apartment Homes

I've been living @ Oxford Manor in Mechanicsburg for several months so it's now time to give a review. Overall Oxford Manor is a good place to hang your hat for a while. I moved back to PA from MD and didn't want to buy a house right away. I found a good place to stay in the meantime. The dog park is very handy to let your dog out and let them run and play for a bit. The maintenance team is very friendly and helpful, I live right down from the maintenance supervisor Scott and he's a great guy. The cost to live here is also reasonable which is not so easy to find these days. The front office and pool area is really nice and well taken care of. The office staff are nice to work with as well. Very disappointing management. Clear neglect in cleaning and organizing the parking lot after snowstorms, with no designated or numbered parking spots per apartment, and no enforcement or permanent solutions—causing daily frustration for tenants.

Ok first thing. The rent listed is about $300 less than what it actually is. Secondly when they do background checks. They dig for any reason to disqualify you. I would recommend to anyone to never live here if you can help it. The apartments are crusty no matter what you do to make it homey. There is a very bad mold problem which is not only gross but also detrimental to one’s health. The walls are paneled and are prone to warping due to the moisture present in the air. Additionally, my unit specifically had a hole in the floor near a vent where I had almost twisted my ankle in numerous times. There was also a massive hole in the front yard near a manhole. The appliance and fixtures are outdated and gross. The kitchen is big enough if you are an elf who has dwarfism. The maintenance men are nice, however there is always some need for them to be in the unit even if you don’t request maintenance. I also highly suspect that the pipes used are made o
