Orchards At New Fig Garden

I've only been here for about 7 months but I really like it. Super quiet, clean community. Big shoutout to Margo who made the entire process easy for me and has been very responsive in addressing any issues. My unit is only a couple years old and carpet-free (love that). New appliances overall very pleasant place to live. The application process was by far the easiest out of all the places I applied to. Online application, Margo called me the same day and a couple days later I was approved. Communication was easy and I always received a response.

On October 30th I contacted Orchards apartments for a in person tour. They scheduled me to come in on December 11th at 3:30 p.m. A day before the tour they sent me a reminder about my tour appointment. They also sent me another reminder 3 to 4 hours before my appointment on December 11th. When I arrived, I felt a little judged by the woman that approached me. I was told they had no apartments available for touring. They are very unorganized and the workers don't seem to be all on the same page. I never received a courtesy call about the tour Cancelation. They definitely need more training in this area and also making people feel welcomed when they arrive.

I would consider this review very fair as I’ve lived here for 2 years. Firstly I want to introduce you all to Margo. She manages the property and does a pretty good damn job. Maintain its cleanliness, always communicating with all residents, professional and friendly. Margo always responded in a timely manner (quite fast). From Margo giving me a tour, to me signing my lease, signing another year term, to helping me with any questions and/or concerns, Margo was always fantastic. The staff here are very friendly, always smiling and waving when they see me and my son. They are also very quick on maintenance and emergencies. Me and my son have used all the amenities the apartment offers. From the basketball court, to the mini golf area, pool, gym and etc. I promise they don’t disappoint as it’

Pros: close to the 99, El Paseo Shopping Center, and decent quiet neighborhood. Garages for one car (too small for large SUVs or trucks). Maintenance man is very nice & kind. Cons: manager would not let me see the unit until move in day which made me wonder what was being hidden. Upon inspection, found many dead roaches and some live ones. No wonder new appliances (stove, fridge) had been put in. Your front door literally faces your neighbor’s front door so if you or they have a Ring, it will constantly go off and you each will know the ins and outs of your neighbor. Forget Xmas decor lights that set off the Ring! Parking for guests and moving is difficult to find. Many neighbors have multiple cars but park an unused one for long periods taking up that preferred space. You pay water & gar

Lived at the Orchards for a year and a half. Margo, the community manager, provided a welcoming environment. She was helpful and responsive to any inquires I had and made the move-in and move-out a seamless process. Her and the maintenance crew were kind as well as efficient in getting maintenance requests and repairs resolved. The apartment complex area felt safe and was also kept cleaned and well-maintained.
