Orchard Meadows Apartment Homes

I want to thank Jermaine Lee, Property Manager, at Orchard Meadows and also let people know that he is definitely a Property Manager all rental apartments should have. I was waiting on a part for my oven, going back and forth regarding the status of the part, which was on back order. I stopped in the Leasing Office to speak to someone regarding the status. Mr. Lee did not hesitate, stopped what he was doing and immediately, after I explained why I was there, he was on the phone with Maintenance. He was informed the part had just come in and instructed Maintenance to install the part that day. Mr. Lee showed patience and kindness along with resolving the matter. This one-star review is strictly for the maintenance manager, Jonathan. Following a major snowstorm over the weekend, I was trying to clear snow from the front of my car so I could leave for work. Our parking lot is uncovered, and my car was completely blocked in. While shoveling, I saw a contractor actively clearing the parking lot with a bobcat and politely asked if they could help clear the snow directly in front of my car so I could drive out. Jonathan intervened and dismissively told me they “couldn’t do that” and that it wasn’t why they were there. His tone was rude, condescending, and completely unnecessary. We were extremely impressed with the complex, especially management and the people who we interacted with on a regular basis. We initially chose Orchard Meadows because we were relocating from Florida, and out of all of the complexes that I contacted, Orchard Meadows was by far the most friendly and helpful. The employee that helped us has since moved on from her position, but she was wonderful, and the apartment availability and policies all worked quite well with what we were looking for. In the time we lived there, I had many positive interactions with Jermaine and Dora. Whether we needed help with an issue, or wanted to partake in a little community fun, they were always friendly, thoughtful and interested in understanding the residents' needs. When my husband and I lived here it was a dream. The main office staff, maintenance staff, and all who worked there kept it in good order, took care of the premises, and were very communicative. I believe now it’s a different management company but clearly it’s been upheld to the same high standards, with some improvements even, around the shared spaces. Recently I accidentally ordered a package to my old address and the staff, particularly Jermaine, were extremely helpful in retrieving it. I’m talking above and beyond. I am so grateful for everything they’ve done for us over the years!
