One Greenway

One Greenway is fantastic! We're so grateful to live here. We've been residents for several years now, and the experience has been even better since the new management company took over (Air Communities). It truly feels like a COMMUNITY now--not just because of the resident events (which are at least monthly and very fun), but also also because of the "little things" such as management and staff remembering your name and details about your life, putting up lovely decor around the building for various holidays, and going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable when life happens (e.g., they installed noise reduction panels and curtains in our unit after construction started across the street, they got us a gift when we experienced a major life event). Lived here for 2.5y, hard to ask for much better than what we got. Rent is steep and increases similarly steeply, but the building is nice and well-maintained. Management and facilities teams are adequately responsive and made the process smooth all the way through move-out. In this case, you get what you pay for - and you're paying plenty, so you get plenty. If the location, neighborhood, and peace of mind are what you're looking for, One Greenway can be worth the cost. The rest - price, size, layout - is stuff you can identify from a [virtual] tour, where you can trust your initial impression to be reasonably accurate. I feel grateful to say that One Greenway was an experience of no surprises.

Since the transition to new management, this apartment has noticeably declined. Maintenance will give a 30 second warning text before entering your apartment. You will get nickel and dimed for everything here. The last managment had events every week, now the event board has "pet of the month". Shared amenities like the printer are always out of ink or paper, and if you ask they'll say the residents have been "stealing the paper". They don't text if you have a package, its completely unorganized and has caused loss. The walls are paper thin to the point that you can hear if your neighbor sneezes. Overall there are better, more updated apartments for the same price.

Since buzzuto left, the new management has consistently been uncooperative and sometimes plain rude. Drove all the way from Pennsylvania to pick up some govt issued mail, consistently communicated with the front desk and leasing office to mention we’ll be there to pick it up, had my passport/ID for verification. Guess what, they just said NO. I consider that pretty rude and unnecessarily inconvenient. We lived there for 2 years.

It was a really nice and pleasant experience, like living in a hotel, with a great location in Downtown Boston, near to public transportation, with beautiful views of the city if you get an apartment facing Kneeland street, never got tired of looking through the windows 😍(as you can see in the picture below), highly recommended. All the concierges were so nice and helpful always and anything needed, from changing a bulb to requesting and extra key were provided easily and fast. The monthly events are really nice, gathering neighbors for having fun and also for good causes. The common areas are always a pleasure to visit. We had a blast living there for 2 years.
