Olmsted Falls Village Apartments

My daughter’s apartment smelled like cigarettes and stench from the hallway I assume. She was pregnant and when she would bring her clothes to wash they smelled like she was smoking 2 packs a day ( she doesn’t smoke) I week after her baby was born she realized she couldn’t keep a baby in that environment and moved. Never complained and paid the fee’s to break the lease. The same paint buckets sat in the hall way for 4 months they were there the day we moved her in and the day we moved her out.

No a/c for 19 days in 90° weather. Maintenance man said it was an amenity, and not urgent. Apartment was 89° at its highest. My daughter has asthma. Maintenance man was carrying a gun in his holster. He left a mess in the unit and protruding screws. Greasy hand prints everywhere. Our cat cut his paw on one of them. Basically, maintenance is incompetent. Lisa refused to give a date for it to be fixed so we can return from the hotel we have to stay in. Find a place with educated staff, and maintenance that have skills! ZERO STARS

I’ve lived in my current apartment since January of 2021 and I love it there so far! Everyone is super friendly, it’s typically quiet and safe. I’ve only had minor problems, but they did come out to fix those issues as soon as they could (fairly quickly) . I’ve never had any issues with anybody on the property either! I do recommend looking into these apartments. They’re a little bit secluded, but everything is still nearby and within a 20 minute range!

They didn’t have a unit for us to tour so my boyfriend and I took a gamble when we signed a lease based off pictures. Our unit had nice updates including stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and vinyl flooring. However, the renovations were done poorly. There was paint on the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and caulking on the bathroom tile. One drawer in the kitchen couldn’t be opened without opening the stove because the handle was in the way. There was multiple nail holes throughout the apartment that appeared to have just been painted over and not patched. There is a 2 in 1 washer/ dryer combo in the unit which I thought was going to be great however, it takes 3+ hours just do one load of laundry. When I first saw this place I was very excited by the seemingly modern renovations and location. However after a few months of living here it became very apparent that the upgrades were cheap aesthetic coverups for very serious issues. Several things broke, the water heater was tiny so you got about maybe 10 minutes of hot water and all the ventilation would emit a musty damp smell. It was never made clear to me that the building was a smoking building. The connected ventilation and heavy smoking (indoors) of all the neighbors created a very unhealthy enviroment. The walls around our vents were literally discolored from the smoke coming from other units. Neighbors were alright, however there was constant barking and children screaming/running around in the halls. Management was terrible,
