Olentangy Village

I want to share my experience regarding my move-out charges at Olentangy Village. At move-out, my entire security deposit was applied, and I was also charged a $500 sublease fee. While I accept responsibility for part of the kitchen cabinet bottom repair, I strongly disagree with additional charges that I believe reflect normal wear from ordinary residential use. In particular, a $491 cabinet door replacement charge was assessed. I provided move-in and move-out documentation, but management maintained that the condition exceeded normal wear and tear. I want to post an honest review of the Maintenance Department here at Olentangy Village. Because my husband and I have lived here for 8 years, we have had a number of things that needed attention. We have found the Maintenance Department to be very responsive any time there is a problem. A technician typically will arrive within a very short time. One time, I had just called regarding a small water leak and I swear, before I could even set my phone down the worker was knocking at our door. I teased him about that, too. We recently moved into our second apartment here, located at The River. When we moved in, we had the usual list of things that needed attention. I've lived in Olentangy Village Apartments for 2 years now and I absolutely love it here! I tell everyone that I have found my forever home. OV is so charming and peaceful, and the brick buildings with their beautiful architectural details that are surrounded by huge old growth trees just makes the place magical! The property is superbly regularly maintained, the maintenance staff is top notch, and the management team here are so nice, professional, and helpful. Rent is very fair, and the fabulous amenities they offer here are way too numerous to mention! (They have a great swimming pool too!) Plus, it's within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. And right on the bus line too! Yep, I found my forever home right here at Olentangy Village Apartments!

Olentangy Village is home! After living here for a couple years, I can truly say I have loved it and would recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone I know! Staff and maintenance interactions are timely and respectful. The pool in the summer is definitely a highlight of mine as well. I am very thankful to this apartment complex.

My daughter leases an apartment with Olentangy and the leasing coordinate, Ha'Nyah Humbles needs to be recognized for her competence, efficiency, professionalism and customer orientation. She is always very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Sadly, this is unusual for people in this role as they are often dealing with issues and problems that people are upset about. I don't normally comment on these things, but she deserves the recognition.
