ORTC and Shelley Bagan are responsive, efficient and professional escrow services for all your real estate needs. I have worked with Shelley for over 10 years, and she is my preferred escrow officer. My clients know they are in good hands when working with Shelley and ORTC.

We wanted to do a deed transfer, and communicated with Julie Lazzaro. Initial communications were good, they gathered all necessary info and seemed to know what they were doing. They told us they could work on it by end of June, and that was no problem. Mid-July we emailed to check-in, and got no reply. Emailed again in early August, no reply. It's now 2.5 months since they last communicated with us (checked my spam folder, and they have other ways to reach us). So... I guess we'll find someone else then.

The most horrible experience with this branch in general and particularly with Ms. Joy Abergas: phone is never picked up, emails are maybe answered sometimes, and most importantly, her work is sloppy. I had to escalate all the way to the very top of Old Republic to get her to do things. After 72 phone calls, and a similar number of emails, they were still late, and I had to switch title companies for my real estate transaction. Stay away.

These folks simply can’t be bothered. Little interest in actually providing service. They just lock their doors when they’re tired of working & don’t even transfer their phone to a recorder. They don’t care, you want something from them- Do it on THEIR schedule, which doesn’t match the 9 to 5 they have posted.

Shelley Bagan is the best Escrow Officer I have ever dealt with. Very knowledgeable and professional. No one else compares!
