Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. Communication felt impersonal and inflexible, and I did not feel much understanding or accommodation during the process. For a service-oriented business in a small community, I expected a more customer-focused approach.

We were actually considering another townhome bc we were on a huge time crunch, but ultimately chose ODR because of their outstanding reviews—and we’re so glad we did. The application process was incredibly smooth, and even though we were out of state, they gave us a full tour over the phone, which made everything so easy. From day one, their communication was clear, consistent, and thoughtful. They truly care about their tenants—we always felt safe, supported, and at home. I had a deeply disappointing experience with Old Dominion Realty. The way I was treated felt discriminatory, and I did not receive the same level of respect and service as others. No one should have to face bias when looking for a home or seeking real estate services. Businesses should operate with fairness, inclusivity, and professionalism, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values equal and respectful treatment.
