My husband, daughter, and I toured several apartments today. We ultimately decided to go with Oktiv. We loved the property and the location. Andrew was a Rockstar! We also interacted with Shelby as well. She was also pleasant.

I strongly advise against renting from this property. The management staff consistently fails to address concerns and exhibits unprofessional behavior. They make false claims regarding amenities, such as balconies, a gated community, and complimentary parking. My balcony has been inaccessible since January and will remain so until the expiration of my lease. The gate is never secured, resulting in vehicle break-ins, yet Oktiv takes no responsibility for these incidents. Parking is extremely limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, even with a parking pass. Unjustified charges are frequently added to resident accounts without prior notification, and explanations for these charges are delayed. If you are considering signing a lease here, I wish you a more positive experience

My son lived at a different complex last year and there were quite a few things wrong with that apartment when he moved in that were never fixed the whole year. We have been very happy with the way his apartment at Oktiv was upon arrival. We also like how close the complex is to the Frat houses, Aldi's, Plato's Closet and Gordo's. The massive granite bar tops in the kitchens are perfect for parties or cooking. There is a nice sized outside porch to put a few chairs on also. Lastly, the entrance security gates and the fencing around the property are a great piece of mind to me as a parent.

I have been a tenant for 3 years now and I have enjoyed living here. I don’t encounter many problems but when I do, the staff handles them terribly. Recently, our electronic lock was not working. It was stuck on a red light for several hours. When calling the leasing office, she informed me that she “don’t know” how to change the battery (???) and the people that do weren’t there yet. When they arrived, she called back and told me that the batteries were not working and they had to call a locksmith. The locksmith was called and didn’t arrive until after 5pm. He took the lock off of our door without our knowledge, leaving our door with NO LOCK!!!!. ANYONE could have gotten in. I called the front office and asked was this not a safety hazard and they responded “I’m not sure.” HOW ARE YOU NOT

I have had similar bad experiences living at Oktiv as the other recent reviews. Most of the employees at the front office are extremely rude and unhelpful, and the maintenance team leaves disgusting messes in your apartment. DONT LIVE HERE: LOUD construction every morning (you won’t get a SINGLE moment of quiet from 7:45am to about 6pm) , no balcony, a gate that never closes, constantly broken facilities, only ~25 visitor spots, tiny bedrooms, a horrible maintenance system, and a higher-up management that doesn’t even bother to respond to emails from upset residents. UPDATE: Still no balcony despite 16 months of obnoxious construction work (not going to get one this lease), and an overflowing parking lot.
