Off Campus Housing

I recently contacted Off Campus Housing LLC regarding a property they had listed for rent. After expressing my strong interest in the property, I was informed that it was undergoing repairs due to storm damage. The representative I spoke with assured me that they had taken down my information—name, phone number, and email—and promised to reach out once the repairs were completed so that I could schedule a tour. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication. When I reached out to them today to inquire about the status, first they weren’t even aware of the property and placed me on hold however I was surprised and disappointed to learn that the property had already been rented to someone else. This lack of communication and failure to follow through is highly unprofessional,

The property manager or whoever she Erin Aaron whatever her name is, rude and passive aggressive , veryyyy unprofessional. She hung up on me multiple times, and then never became available when there were issues. They moved people in on an ACTIVE lease, idk about yall but I can’t just live with anyone. They Let the lights go out because no one was able to pick up the utilities after they moved in random ppl on an active lease like mentioned..when I called to let them know, Errin NEVER there, the one that’s supposed to be in charge 💀. Their office has no communication between eachother because nobody EVER knew what the other person told they residents, but they make sure they let you know the calls are recorded…but you tell them pull up the recording no one know how to do that 😂. DO NOT MOVE HERE. If I could give less stars I would. This is the worst apartment experience I have ever had. I just moved out today after living there for the past year. For starters, upon move in, the apartment was dirty and looked nothing like the pictures. My closet collapsed after I hung my clothes up. My bathroom sink drained so slow for the longest time before they fixed it. Work orders are not handled in a timely fashion, even if you state that it's an emergency (plumbing, etc.) There were several big issues. 1. When we moved in the microwave did not work and they could not seem to figure out the problem for several months. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I moved out July 2023 and didn’t get my security deposit letter until September when it was legally too late for them to submit deductions. We paid $480 for professional cleaning. It was in better condition than when we moved in other than reasonable wear on the couch. I was told I was supposed to receive my full deposit refund in the mail + an extra month that we were “accidentally” charged upon move out. It has been 10mo since move-out & OCH still owes me $1350. I went to the old office 3 times, new office 3 times, wrote a letter, and called requesting the money. I keep getting told they’ll let someone know. I have been a resident under Off Campus Housing for about 6 months now and I am very pleased to have made the decision to stay there. The welcoming staff makes calling or visiting the office a pleasurable experience. They truly care about resident morale, and they go above and beyond to show this through holiday programs, giveaways, and other types of events. Any maintenance request that I had was promptly corrected, and I am grateful for their attentive service.
