Oakleaf Plantation Apartments

Been here for a year. For the most part, it’s ok. I wouldn’t renew again. After my lease is up, I’m out. The neighbor above me makes the most noise I have ever experienced living in an apartment. He walks like he’s marching to war. Moves his entire apartment around every night!! He must have gotten a dog that he lets run all over the place all day and night (especially during quiet hours). Even when he’s not home, the dog is just as noisy as he is. I have been complaining since he’s moved in and was only told to call JSO so that they can have a paper trail. It’s a shame that you pay rent to live and NEVER have any quietness in the place that you’re paying for. I guess the management team has contacted him about it, not sure because nothing has changed. Oakleaf is a great apartment home community. They are very attentive to the residents needs. I haven’t lived in an apartment in over 30 years and had many questions. They are always willing to answer them.

Starting with the application process in which it was pretty easy the office staff Tyra was very professional and helpful guiding me thru it all! The property it is so well kept, maintenance response is amazing and love how they notify you when they had come in! Very happy with the decision to call this home!!!

We moved out 10.31.25, paid rent on time for sixteen months and provided forwarding address and all keys. We received an email on 12.01.25 with final move out charges and a message saying the bill would be sent to collections the next day with no way to pay the bill except money order or cashier’s check in person. No attempts to contact us prior, no access to the resident portal to pay. Just the threat of being sent to collections the next day. Predatory billing practices, bugs in the unit, work orders were refused two months prior to move out, the AC went out twice, the trash compactor was down for months and there is constant garbage and debris near the dumpsters. There are apartment complexes down the road and across Argyle Blvd; choose somewhere else.
