Oakland Terrace

I spent about 3 months looking for a place in Philadelphia (particularly in north east philly), and it has been a relief/blessing to find Oakland Terrace. First, the apartment actually looked liked the picture online, and had the available amenities I was looking for. I became accustomed to expecting that the apartments I toured would look significantly different from what I'd see online, and was pleasantly surprised to find my apartment now. Second, the leasing process was a breeze because of the professionalism of the leasing office and it's manager Marc K. Rather than sending my info in, and hoping a responsive leasing agent was working, it has been a relief dealing with a professional like Marc. He actively worked to coordinate with my schedule in order for us to complete the leasing a

Honestly Marc is the most responsive realtor I've ever contacted with about an apartment. He was willing to work around my schedule and was available for me to contact him when needed through text or call. He was even able to show me the exact apartment that I would be moving into.

These apartments are infested with bed bugs. Maintenance guy is super creepy and likes to hang out and play with the kids from the building. Inside and Outside of the building is always dirty. if you want a bug, mice, roach and 1000 legger infested apartment this is by far the place to be. lets not get started on the washers and dryers always breaking down. OH and the lovely smell of marijuana in the hallways.

Do to change on date of moving they will not work with me. I gave $1000 to hold the apartment. They keep the money. I never said I was not moving in. I just told them I will move in on a diferent day. What is the purpose of the $1000 to hold the unit? They robb me for my money. Really bad apartment management. I Don't recommend it

Do not waste your money on this place unless you want mice as your roommate, also their washer and dryer always acting up; just stay away from this place if you can.
