Oakbrook Walk Apartments

I’m a UF student and I’ve been living at Oakbrook Walk for about 5 months now. It’s honestly been a great experience. The location is super convenient for getting to campus, but it’s still quiet compared to a lot of other student housing. The apartment is spacious and feels like a real place to live, not just a temporary student spot. Love to play basketball with my buddies during warm weather and it really has that vibe to it! Love the events that they do and always excited when they do giveaways! The Office staff is great to talk to and always willing to help when I stop in! Ronnie and Anthony has been a huge help when I had pest issue. They were on top of it and fixed the issue the next day!

I have had enough with the management at Oakbrook Walk apartments. - Upon move in, we first didn’t have keys that worked for the apartment and no mail key. - The apartment was in horrible condition, hole in the tub, mold, a yellow film over the kitchen. It was very clear no one came to clean in between tenants. - Maintenance is the only good thing about this place both men have been extremely helpful, professional and nice, same thing cannot be said for the front office staff. - I have been to the front for many issues and most of the time, I’m met with an uncaring attitude, that completely comes off as disrespectful and rude. No one answers the phone, and when there is an answer, it’s because whatever call center they use picked it up. But guess what? They can’t do anything for you but s

The apartment was in dire conditions. As shown in the pictures attached, the vents were filthy; the smell was noxious; the doors (and the frames) were gross; there were stains on the bathtubs; and the washer and dryer were in awful condition. Simply put, the apartment was unsanitary and posed a clear health hazard. Despite multiple requests, not much has been done by the Company.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this complex. You are given less than 24 hour notice OR notice after the event about moving vehicles, entering apartments, etc. When you do have an issue, the office is impossible to get a hold of and even if you do, the manager will refuse to speak to you. This apartment complex was amazing when Lyn was running it. Ronnie managed to turned this place 180 within just a few months. Maintenance is useless and usually won’t fix problems the first time(if ever). I’m probably going to get a reply asking for more information about how to make my experience better. The answer is there is nothing you can do. Redo the entire of the management and system running the complex and MAYBE you’ll get somewhere. STAY AWAY!!!! Edit: I tried calling the number provided

I live out here. I love everything about it. I have no issues with anything. Since I’ve been living out here it’s been quite and very comfortable love coming home after a long day. The staff is wonderful and very understanding. I love Carla she is the best. Ronnie is wonderful also. Thanks for all you do for us!
