Oak Street Villas. What a great spot, tucked right next to Amityville's Main Street. I've been living here for going on 7 years and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. When people ask me if I like it here - I always tell them I got super lucky landing an apartment in this villa. The apartments are spacious, clean, modern, and managed by some really nice people. I don't know how other people get so twisted in their bad reviews. I've never had an issue and if I ever needed help or maintenance, Susan and James couldn't be nicer people and are always quick to help. My husband and I rented a first floor apartment for almost 6 years. We were one of the first people to move in when the property opened. The management is dismissive and inconsistent if there are ever any issues. The move out process was ridiculous. They gave us $175 back from our security deposit with no itemized list of the cost they claimed were needed. We left the apartment in great condition minus some wall touch ups from photos. I attempted to call multiple times to discuss the itemized list and I never received a call back. There are so many options to choose from. I would avoid this rental property if you can.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The apartment units themselves are nice, despite them being in a shady parking lot. There is a major lack of privacy due to the activity level in the parking lot. Let’s move on to management. Management does not take care of the property the way they should. They ripped out a tree in front of our apartment and replaced it MONTHS later. There was a gaping hole leading to the busy street and both pedestrians and passing drivers could look right into our bedroom. Rose is passive aggressive, nasty, and refuses to work with tenants. When you sign your lease, be prepared to sign your life away. Ive been living at oak st villas from day one. The complex is great and centralized to everything you need. Working with staff over the years has been a pleasure. I have no complaints. Susan and james couldnt be more helpful friendly and accommodating!!!!

don't waste your time or money on these people. they are subhuman and care nothing about you aside from your rent check. if you like rules rules and more rules and inspections twice a year and condescending emails every week about everything under the sun and being reminded that you are nothing to them but a rent check and stuck under a lease then have at it and move on in. if not look for another spot...there are many out there. the parking here is terrible. do not expect to find a spot on a Thursday Friday or Saturday night after about 7:30pm , each apartment only gets one space and there is a public lot right next to the complex and that lot fills fast so that leaves you no where to go, there are NO streets to park on around there so that leaves you nowhere to go which also means you ca
