I started a new build with NV homes back in September. I worked with their lender as well for my loan approval. The process has been challenging. NVM homes made me put more than 10% down as earnest money and I had a hard time receiving a loan approval but some how the lender pushed it through. I pointed out to the loan officer she had wrong balances on my current mortgage and was telling me not to worry about it until spring. This is over 100k difference. Now we are in spring and I am still aggressively short. I have contacted NVM homes to tell them my concerns nobody is listening to me. They are now telling me I didn't do a home contingency and there is no financial contingency either and they have NOT given one out for over 5 years. I did not come with a realtor either.
