Northwood Commons

I have to boil water to wash dishes because water doesnt get hot, even though you have to pay for utilities which are high for an apartment because of the leaking pipes. I cant wait til my lease is up; also you can hear every footstep if you have people livng above you. Dont let the sauna be a selling point because it doesnt work well at all.

Moved in a week ago and haven’t had any problems, the maintenance crew is fast and quick to respond, had a new AC unit within a day

We were quite unimpressed with our time at Northwood Commons. From the miasmatic hallways, at times too smoky to see all the way to the end, to the filthy pool, there’s not much about this place that I can leave any positive feedback for. Our mailbox was not secure; the common entrances to the building often broken and left unlocked; the garage door lock did not even require the key to open: the outdoor areas are constantly littered with garbage; and maintenance is a joke. Attempts to contact management were routinely dismissed or outright ignored. Management also threatens surveillance and “conduct fines” for violations of “policies” that are not included in the lease agreement or any of the addendums. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone.

There is a swimming pool. Good! It overflows occasionally. Not good. Residents on the third floor have to carry their dirty clothes down two flights of steps to access the laundry room. It seems like the washing and drying machines are in need of repair. The maintenance team is stressed. All for now.

If I could give 0 stars I would terrible management multiple brake ins to garage and many items stolen and damaged. My vehicle has been ransacked many times and someone even had the audacity to cut my battery wires under the hood of my car. Management has done nothing to help and has offered no added security in any way. On many different occasions we have had drunk and drugged people walk into our apartment, up on our patio, and found sleeping in the hallways. If you ever decide to order anything online make sure they have a good mail insurance because about half the packages we ordered were stolen. I cannot wait until my Lease is up I would never recommend this place to anyone.
