Northwest Terrace Apartments

We have gone through 3 land lady's since I got here less than a year ago, and no one ever seems to be in the office but thats where we need to go in order to load our laundry cards and this has been a constant issue ever since the first land lady was replaced. The ring door bell on the office is never answered anymore either. On top of that they have breached my lease agreement charging me an extra $70 for wifi and cable that was not apart of my lease or added fees that I signed for. And to be double sure I checked my lease and former bills and sure enough there is nothing there about this fee that came out of no where for a service they are not even providing me. And charging me for without any notice this charge was going to be added. [Update] The management staff is incredibly rude! Th

so what I’m gonna warn people, when considering this apartment complex is please make sure and question everything on your contract. And whanever the leasing office tells you something, you need to record or have a witness because my rent went up by $70 to add Internet for which I didn’t even want. She first said that it could wait till when I re-signed shortly after she changed that it ended up still charging me the following month. When first moving in, I was welcome to roaches, ceiling fan broken, doors that look like they had water damage later on finding out that it was because every time it rained water was coming into my bedroom which damaged my furniture and they did nothing about it. This is a low star place my rent has went up multiple times and I had gotten family members to apply for these apartments and they couldn’t get their refund back knowing that most apartments tell you you won’t qualify beforehand you purchase the application fee with these apartments did not do that and they denied his application and I rate these apartments as zero out of 10 the maintenance is not good whatsoever there’s holes in the walls. There’s plumbing issues my sink has a leak underneath and I’ve been residing here for not even a year and there’s so many issues with these apartments.

The place is peaceful and quiet. the majority of the residents are older folks and families. I have never encountered problems in the 3 years that i have lived here. Every apartment complex has its issues, but ever since new management came in, she has the place looking really good and clean and welcoming. There are a couple cats on the property, but I do not mind them. No rats, mice, or roaches unless you are a dirty client. Maintenance is in every month to change filters and pest control comes in to spray. I have more outside bugs than anything that pop in to visit only when they cut the grass.

I must say that I was not the ideal tenant from the standpoint of cleanliness for the 2 years that I lived there (now in NM) , but I did find management generally responsive through MANY changes in on-site representatives. The on site maintenance man was very responsive. He often would go out if his way to help me with maintenance issues (I am a 100% disabled USAF veteran). I am surprised to see the negative reviews. Those are the opinions of others. My review is positive.
