North East Brooklyn Housing

I put my hopes of moving my children out of the situation we were in before it became serious, this was in 2023 almost a year later and I haven’t secured housing after paying for a background check and seeing a total of three apartments in the year, I’m not having only a month left to move and I’m still sitting in my very now livable apartment. I’m truly disappointed and sadden that I put faith in this organization just to be ignored and disregard. For the most part I blame the state of NYC! Clean up the housing mess!

I do not suggest trying to find a job at this place. I am an excellent superintendent. The job I've been working at now has recognized me with an award and gift card for excellent service for going above and beyond the normal. Northeast Brooklyn Housing Association actually treated me harshly and fired me because of my hard work. When I asked for supplies to make repairs on apartments either I got used supplies from an apartment being renovated or I got nothing at all. The only supplies I was allowed to order were plastic bags and they fired me for no reason and told me that I could not pick up my tools that same day so my tools ended up being stolen buy one of their lazy maintenance workers that was the only person that knew I had tools in that storage room. Ms. Claudette is very rude and condescending. I know this has been written over and over already but this woman needs to be fired. Her lack of courtesy and understanding makes her hard to work with. I’m surprised no one has reported her yet.

You don’t want to know the SLUM LORDS they have become down through the yrs. Just ask the people in Bedford Stuyvesant & East New York. North East Bklyn Housing is THE WORSE. They get 5 stars for being the worst SLUMLORDS

The most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with . Ms Claudette does NOT know how to do her job and catches an attitude instead of fixing the problem . I’ve been having leakage problems for month . 311 has done a better job for me than this office . Waiting for them to do their job is like waiting to see god himself come down . They cannot do anything right . It’s a constant fight for housing problems THEY HAVE TO FIX ! Fire the whole staff especially Claudette and bring in professionals .
