Newport Lake Apartments

I've lived in Newport Lake for more than six years; it was fantastic at first, but not so much now days. I never complain and I'm a quiet person , but I have a limit when I see roaches! In November, I began to notice roaches. Since then, I've used foggers twice and the exterminator has sprayed twice. Now that January has arrived, I've observed more than six in a 24-hour period. The leasing manager seemed to be unavailable whenever I went to the leasing office to voice my concerns. In the end, I had to email her to voice my concerns. Every time I had a complaint, the leasing office made it sound like I was to blame, even though I know that's untrue given how long I've been living here. Big shout out to the staff at Newport Lake Apartments .Such an amazing team I highly recommend .Coming to check them out if you’re looking for a place to call home. quiet area right by the interstate everyone pretty much stays to themselves an the most important part there is a lake on the property and a gym . just personally want to shout out avianna, Alexis. I love it here! My husband, 9 month old daughter and I have lived in the townhouse section of Newport Lakes since October. Manangement is super friendly, maintenance always comes right away, the pool is nice and quiet neighbors! The only thing is the townhouse roofs are like tin and we always keep our ac at 63-66° in the summer and this past 2 weeks it's been as hot as 85° downstairs and a 5-10° different (HOTTER) upstairs in the loft space. We are going to be moving into the apartment section for more room within the next few weeks! :)

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I’ve been a tenant at this complex for over three years. I went through a divorce, lived alone, worked two jobs, and battled depression , all while trying to keep up with life. I always paid my rent on time. I was never a nuisance. And yet, I was treated with absolute disrespect and zero compassion. Let’s start with move-in: The apartment was handed to me in poor condition — floors not mopped, black specks all over the washing machine, and just generally dirty. I documented the condition with timestamped photos. Still, I stayed quiet and tried to make the best of it. In my tenancy, I received a warning that my unit wasn’t clean enough, and that they would be reinspecting. Feeling embarrassed and overwhelmed, I paid out of pocket to have someone clean it.
