Newport Apartments

I lived here for 1 year, the TLDR; Would I live here again? No. Is it the worst place you can live in the area? No. ⚠️Quick Summary of Cons: -car window smashed in 2 weeks into living here (~$900+ worth of out of pocket damages) -side doors to building always open -can be SUPER noisy (loud kids & loud construction) -most laundry machines are often dirty -heavy security deposit cleaning/repair charges for minor wear & tear -frequent water shut off notices -half way through lease elevator was out frequently -could never use balcony because of wasps outside* sliding doors ✅Quick Summary of Pros: -great mail package facility -most (but not all) of the surrounding areas is really beautiful to walk around (behind the complex, sobrato etc. I would avoid) -safeway around the corner is super conven

If you’re looking for a place that has good reasonable rent NewPort Apartments is a great place to rent. All of the neighbors are really super nice and very friendly. The grounds even with the construction is very well kept up.

I visited the property and I must say Emma from the Rental Office was extremely helpful showing me the available units and patiently answering all my questions. The layout was very good and price was reasonable. The pool looked clean and nice and there seemed to be plenty off parking spaces A few caveats: 1- Apartments do not have in unit Laundry, however, there is a laundry room centrally located 2- The 1-bed units I saw looked clean and nice but a little small. 3- There are no elevators except in one building which will be under construction starting October 25 for a period of several month, the construction involves replacing all Balconies , so most of the work will happen outside the units. Living at the Newport Apartments has been an absolute amazing. This apartment truly is cozy it's so inviting and comfortable, and the natural light just pours in, making every room feel bright and airy. Largely thanks to their cute pool area. The pool itself is immaculately maintained, always sparkling clean, and surprisingly spacious, so even on a busy weekend, it never feels overcrowded. I would definitely recommend.
