A total scam and waste of time and money. My sisters and I join this program with hopes of purchasing homes. They lied and promised us things that were unobtainable. They misled us to believe they would indefinitely help with closing or down payment. Once we paid them hundreds of dollars they completely change their pitch. Everything they came they can do is best done on your own. The only thing that was guaranteed to us was a realtor in which we could have done on our own. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Also once we decided that this program would have no gain to us so left the program with absolutely no service and were told we could not be refunded. They prey on young families to trick them out of money. Do your research before doing any business with

I was informed by big Friendly to bring auto payments up to date. Pay down credit cards balances. Most important begin to make a small payment on Income driven repayment plan even thoughts zero payment is required.

Here's my opinion about NHBA and for those looking to have assistance getting a home - feel free to message me and I'm happy to talk and show you the paperwork I had to complete & process!! I needed to find a place - knew I had credit issues - heard about NHBA - contacted them - met with them - had to complete & submit an application payment - I then went through a credit evaluation - received a letter saying that is would be 12-24 months before I could get a home - I could not wait - so I contacted a REALTOR who walked me through the process - I met with a Mortgage Company - ran credit - All good! I purchased my first home, on my own - not needing to wait over a year or so! Oh - during my meeting with NHBA, I needed to provide them with a months salary!! To this date - 16 years later

Thanks for the reviews it helped alot with my decision to go with this company or not.I can see this company has been around for a while and only 6 reviews??? 3 are terrible and the other ones just have stars with no comment based on this alone I won't do it...thanks guys for your honesty

They do anything for you but take your money and they don’t gave you any of your money back at all they owe me 6000 and I’m gonna get it one way
