Mya Apartments

I have been living in this building for years and loved it. Management clearly cares and works to ensure things are running smoothly and communicate clearly if there is any delay. I highly recommend.

Edit #2: Now a week away. Still no update on what is needed from me before move out. Also, the security system for the complex has been horrendously buggy this week and has caused us and others to be locked out of all but a single door. We just barely pulled up home for the night and the parking spot we pay monthly for is unavailable because said parking gate does not work. A frustrating experience with fees, service consistency, and billing. After applying, I learned I had to pay a non-refundable third-party guarantee fee (a bit over $1,000). I repeatedly asked to leave a refundable deposit directly with the property—like my friend did—but was denied and had to proceed due to the semester start. Maintenance started well (quick AC repair), but months later a washer problem was “scheduled” and then seemingly forgotten for weeks; once I reopened the ticket, it was fixed the next day and was only a clogged drain. Package delivery was a recurring hassle because first-time drivers struggled to locate the entrance—Walmart deliveries were often returned. Great location, close to EVERYTHING. Management is helpful, specially Jeanette, she's freaking awesome! Gym and rooftop are the best part if it. Easy to recommend.

I've enjoyed my time at Mya, and I love how close it is to a variety of restaurants and entertainment around town. The apartments are perfect for individuals and small families, and it's been wonderful have a place that is pet friendly! The maintenance staff are wonderful, always greeting the residents and assisting with last minute calls. Getting a hold of management/office staff is frustrating, mostly because the number they have online isn't correct. I did find that the "TEXT US" button on the website does put you in contact with someone from the leasing department, and while I can imagine they're getting tired of redirecting me it's a better way to get in contact with the rest of the office. Overall, it's been a good experience and I'm happy to be at Mya.
