We had a wonderful experience from first contact to close with Art Melchionda at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. He was clear, respectful and patient throughout the process, offered a very competitive rate and was wonderful across the finish line. I could not recommend Art and the team at Mutual of Omaha any more.

Art's team at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage were great to work with. Art especially was very knowledgeable. Fully recommend using this lender as they were forthright with their fees and saved me money in the long run. If the lender fee is waived there may be a larger than usual charge for the Credit Report.

Update: I'm removing two stars for the unprofessional and, IMO, immature business practice of bombarding me with "important matters regarding your loan" spam for what ended up being mortgage protection. I expect more from a company whose members work hard to build a solid reputation only to embarrass them at the finish line. Attached are the five I received on the first day. Initial Review: Our rep did a great job communicating and educating. As first time home buyers, we felt the process was very transparent.

Art and his team are spectacular to work with! He helped me with a loan on a new house and then refinancing on that house shortly after to get a much better rate! He is very knowledgeable and eager to assist in any way he can. I’m very lucky to have found him and can’t recommend using him and his team enough. I will be forever moving forward!

I haven’t purchased a home is over 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised at how well and smoothly the home buying process went this time. Art and his team did excellent! Answered every question and truly cared about what I cared about. I appreciate that. Buying a home is a huge expense but having a great buying experience really helps lower the stress. Thank you.
