Mt. Airy Place

This place is rough... at least our building. Elevators are sometimes out for days/weeks at a time. Makes accessibility a huge challenge for people who live on the higher floors. When you need something fixed, the maintenance team will blatantly unplug your camera systems. That's very telling about their intentions and how they choose to find solutions. The water pressure is deplorable and provides barely enough hot water to run a single shower. Air conditioners leak, paint is flimsy, laundry can't do full loads, communication is last-minute, and the list can go on.

Shaniece went above and beyond. She is professional and knowledgeable about the property. Working with her to move into Mt Airy Place was easy and stress-free for me.

I've been here since 2020 and I'm mostly satisfied with my experience. Ms. Lisa is great, I've had mostly good experiences with maintenance, and the neighborhood is mostly peaceful and walkable. My main point of concern is the mice. I went from only seeing 1 in my unit per year to having 3-4 in the last 6 months or so. If you mention it to anyone on the maintenance team, they'll say something like "Yeah, I know. I hear about it all over the building." But why not do something? They're doing inspections this week for stoves and fire alarms. Why not take the same or a similar approach with inspecting the buildings for pests? The exterminator that has come out the last 2 times was very close to useless. He didn't listen to me or even bother to look where I asked him to look. If you're going t
