Mountain Creek Apartments

Me and my husband have lived here 17 years. It has changed ownership a few times. We use to have a lot more amenities back then. Elk, our new manager, and weve had several, has really been on top of maintenance orders for the residents, and that i see often. Boy did we need that. Apartment living is, well, apartment living. It has its ups and downs. Its quiet for the most part, and you always get that one neighbor. Were happy here. Id like to see some benches put in front of the property. I lived here for over three years, and unfortunately, it has quickly deteriorated. It may look nice from the outside, but the management is a major issue. During my time, there were three different managers, and the current one seems overly focused on towing vehicles rather than addressing tenant concerns. Communication is a struggle—he prefers emails and repair request forms that rarely lead to any action. The landscapers often seem more interested in napping in the carport than maintaining the grounds. While parking is somewhat convenient, it seems to encourage bad behavior, with residents blocking others in and visitors creating their own spots. We've lived here for a few years and this complex has become worse every year. We constantly have broken washing machines. We just gave up and got a laundry mat. We've had unresolved maintenance issues for 3 years and they always " miss " scheduled maintenance appointments. They don't enforce any parking or pool rules, it is a free-for-all. The big dog rule doesn't apply here so go ahead and bring your pit bulls. They also don't enforce the smoking cigarettes rule. Everyone smokes in their patio with no repercussions. Lastly, quiet hours don't apply here. Our neighbors are up at all hours of the night ( 12 am - 4 am ) screaming and yelling. They blast their music with no regard for neighbors. Roaches in buildings. All my neighbors in my building have roaches. They need to fumigate tent the whole building but don't do anything except spot fumigate each unit. This doesn't work. The roaches are in all of the walls. This complex has become increasingly disgusting because of the trash areas, lack of pool enforcement, parking, and roaches. It's no wonder they can't rent any buildings out while jacking up the rent prices over the last few years. This complex is completely neglected and mismanaged.

I do not recommend it. The apartment complex is loud, and I can't get any rest with loud music playing all the time. The apartment manager doesn't do anything to help. The laundry area is always trashed.
