Montelago Apartments

I still live in this apartment complex, and it constantly smells like weed. Management does not seem to handle the issue. I do not smoke, and the smell really disturbs me. Even though we've sent multiple emails to management, their response is always the same. They send out general emails to residents, but there is never any follow-up. They also have some foundation issues. After the freeze, a crack appeared on our ceiling. We called multiple times, and while maintenance staff came to look at it, they said they needed to inform management since it was a foundation problem. Nothing was ever fixed. I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to blame us and keep our deposit in the end, as I’ve heard that’s what they often do. The lawn is also poorly maintained; sometimes it takes them over a month

Montelago apartments are a scam I would not live here, they are very nice from the outside and inside i mean no issues. But as far as the management I mean they were truly no help I could go back to my first day I moved in and had only cold water and they would not come fix it and made my kids shower in freezing cold waters leaving that the only option. But really what this review about is be warned that no matter if you leave your apartment perfectly fine when you moved out you will still get charged a $200 " deep clean " fee which is insane because for one they should deep clean apartments either way before the next people to move in, I have pictures showing my apartment was good after I left very minor things were left. Living at Monte Lago Apartments has been a very disappointing experience. The management consistently fails to address even the most basic maintenance needs. The grass has not been cut in over a month, leaving the community looking neglected and unkempt. Trash collection is irregular, often leaving garbage piling up and creating unpleasant odors around the property. Equally concerning is the poor customer service. Reaching out to the office rarely leads to a resolution, and communication from management is unprofessional and unhelpful. For the amount of rent charged, the level of service and upkeep provided is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering Monte Lago Apartments to look elsewhere for a cleaner, safer, and better-managed community.

The level of crime at Montelago Apartments is out of control and continues to occur with alarming frequency. Management must be held accountable for failing to provide adequate protection for tenants and their property. To date, no meaningful action has been taken, and there remains a complete lack of security on the premises. It is deeply unsettling to live in an environment where safety cannot be assured, making it difficult to find peace in my own home. A residence marketed as “luxury” should provide security and comfort, yet Montelago Apartments offers neither.
