My wife and I recently sold our house through Montague Miller and found the entire process outstanding. Our agent, Patti Lillard, did a remarkable job of marketing our very niche home. She engaged a professional photographer/videographer to produce more than 130 photos and videos that showcased our home and it's location to best advantage. She worked diligently to find comps (a difficult task due to the unique nature of the home), advised us on pricing, and worked tirelessly to show the house (including while we, and she, were on vacation). She even worked with our builder, who put a video history of the house onto his YouTube channel. The net result of Patti's efforts is that we got an above asking price cash offer. We contacted Patti Lillard to sell our home but decided to not go with her due to being so outdated on the market and Reality. She had a number in her head to sell our house at and we told her absolutely not and the house was worth more. Moral to the story, she needs to retire and our advising people to sell their homes for a lot less because she wants a fast sale to make her money. She told us numerous times that she is over 60 and doesn’t want a house to sit on the market longer than two weeks. So we went with a different realtor, patti was advising her clients to not visit our house and the one client that came to our open house without her wanted to put an offer in to go wayyyy below asking. Terrible company. Listed a property for rent on Sunday afternoon. When I called and asked about it the realtor (Cindy Reed) said it was already under contract. I asked how to get on the list should that application fall through. She replied that I couldn't and was very snarky and rude. Saying something like "well, that's the real estate game." Incredibly unprofessional way to present bad news, and clearly lacking in modern understanding of the digital world. Wouldn't use this company even if my dream home were available under them.
