Monarch Ridge Apartments

Not safe these apartments had rats in the walls and the maintenance men are VERY LAZY to come and fix the situation ,the maintenance men out here are flirtatious with tenants and rent lady Ms.Tee Stokes Don’t Give Rent lady material I been putting in maintenance request about the rodents issues since 10/2025 it is New Year’s Eve and this issue still hasn’t been resolved my neighbors across and above me are real with this same issue and we all had kids !! The corporate office Doesn’t Not answer the phone or emails these apartments are not safe and needs to be remodeled ASAP ! I come home from work ready to shower and this fat nasty rat was dead in my dresser drawer and chewed a few of my condoms!

This situation is completely unacceptable. It’s infuriating that residents can’t enjoy peace and quiet after 8 pm due to unruly children whose parents refuse to take responsibility. When attempts are made to address these issues civilly, it’s met with aggression and blame. The management’s sluggish response is appalling, and the lack of a sufficient maintenance team only exacerbates the problems. Uninvited guests are taking over the parking lot, trash is overflowing, and there are reports of individuals carrying guns and breaking into cars. The broken gate is just another example of the neglect. This needs to be resolved immediately.

Well this is my 2nd time living here in these apartments and it's nothing like it use to be actually it's better than before with security patrolling Birmingham patrols in the Jefferson county sheriff's.. It's arguing and fussing but it's okay better than before

After what I just seen the staff and owners need to get together and began an outreach in the community by going door to door locating the problematic tenants and find reason to kick them to the curve with all their belongings. The community needs to form an alliance to get these problematic teens and adults out of the community. If y’all won’t do something about it I promise you someone is going to do something about y’all. That girl was 21 years old, barely just left her momma house. I don’t care what it was over, SHE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE. ITS ALL FUN & GAMES UNTIL ITS YOU LYING THEIR PLEADING TO GOD FOR YOUR LIFE. This place that has be renamed as Monarch Ridge Apartment from ValleyBrook Apartments is not a good place to live. The management is horrible. Office is closed on Wednesday by appointment only. Maintenance comes in to repair most times does not return to complete job. I have had no lighting in breezeway for over 2 years and as well other breezeways. Holes in my bedroom and bathroom for over 2 years since major gas shut off for 4 months. My stove has been on the blink since Christmas. I was given a dirty stove from an old apartment which had to be switch to another malfunctioning stove. These German cockroaches bout to take over exterminator only comes with a request.
