Modern Mountain Builders went above and beyond helping us resolve several foundational site issues at The Asheville Outpost. Their team handled grading and drainage corrections with precision—installing proper swales, french drains, and culverts to keep runoff under control even during heavy rain. They also poured new concrete sidewalks, compacted gravel parking areas with correct sub-base and slope, and made sure everything tied together seamlessly with the existing structures. The end result is not just functional but thoughtfully executed and built to last.

Time and time again these guys have been absolutely top notch. I have trusted them with nearly $2M in commercial projects and they deliver far and beyond my expectations each and every time. There is no doubt in my mind that Modern Mountain is the best GC in western North Carolina.

I had an even better experience than anticipated. They built a home for me from the ground up on a piece of raw land with no septic/well/drive. They coordinated everything within a budget that worked for me. Working with them in the planning phase was so easy and they helped me through a lot of practical matters that I wasn't familiar with. They were excellent communicators (this was VERY important to me), respectful, timely, and committed to the project. I am extremely happy with my home. The craftsmanship is excellent. I was thoroughly impressed with the work at each step of the process. They and their subcontractors did an excellent job. I couldn't be any more pleased. I highly recommend this company for building a home and have spread the word, and will continue to do so.
