Modera Walsh

I just wanted to share my experience moving into Modera Walsh Apartments — and honestly, it’s been really great so far! Coming from living in a house, downsizing, and stepping into a new chapter as an empty nester, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much I love it here. My apartment is so quiet, and I feel completely safe. I’m especially loving all the cabinet space, my large closet, and just how comfortable everything feels. The whole transition has been smooth, and the community has made it even better. I’m really happy with my decision to make Modera Walsh my new home!

Marissa and Ashley (leasing agents) need retraining. Staff members have been dismissive in their communication. This reflects poorly on the new property. Put on hold for a very long time and/or told they would have “xyz” call back only to receive no call or any form of communication. They just want your money it seems. *Be careful before applying*

We just moved into Modera Walsh and we love the apartment and the amenities! All of our neighbors that we met are very friendly and welcoming. We are also excited about the smoke free environment! We had a little trouble with our key fob when we first got the apartment but when we reached out to management about the problem they were quick to respond with a solution. We appreciate everything they’ve done to help us feel comfortable and settled. The only thing I would change is to have more parking available close to the main building.

As beautiful as this place is, I would think twice before living here. The office takes forever to answer any questions and concerns, and are extremely unhelpful in creating solutions for issues regarding noise complaints or other issues. I have lived here since July and ever since have had issues with the people above me - I email the office at least once a week with no response or a delayed response. I have also called the courtesy officer multiple times who never answers, and have had to start recording the sound instances as “proof” so they would believe me but it was not “adequate” in their eyes. I’ve also escalated this to the regional level with no help- so far, this has been a terrible experience and has shown me the office and Mill Creek are money hungry and greedy. I asked to ter

BEWARE of money-grabbing schemes… I lived there for a year and a half and had to end my lease early. I needed to move because I had to get a new job due to the economy. I had 4 months left in my lease. THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO SUBLET YOUR APARTMENT. The only option is for you to pay 2X rent as an “early termination fee”. I don’t know about you but I don’t have $2400 laying around— especially when it comes time to move. If I don’t pay the amount, it turns into an eviction on my record, despite me paying rent for two extra months due to the 60 day notice required. They have a program where they will let you out of your lease but the criteria are extremely specific and they denied me based on my small business ownership.
