Modera Edgewater

I am giving this building one star ONLY due to their inability take responsibility for damaged packages due to a package room the floods. I really like the location and building and had no problems until this. And now this just put a bad taste in my mouth for the complex and management. Their package room is so unbelievably crowded and messy, plus it MAJORLY floods, can’t be the first time. And my dresser I order was ruined. The leasing office says it’s not their fault and are doing nothing to help. I get that often in an apartment complex they don’t take responsibility for damages on packages or stolen packages however choosing the location of where you put packages knowing it floods is their fault. And therefore should be liable in this case. They’re blaming the carrier which isn’t at

Modera is a wonderful residence building, and we love our life here! It’s a beautiful building, that feels like a clean and well maintained space for all of the community to enjoy. We also love the surrounding neighborhood with beautiful water views, coffee shops, and walking proximity to our favorite bars, restaurants, and grocery stores! Thomas from the leasing office has always been prompt and helpful in answering all of our questions during move in (and in day to day life!), helping us find lost packages, and any other snags we found along the way. We sincerely appreciate his efforts and the rest of the Modera crew, they are always kind and very helpful.

Very happy with my leasing experience at Modera. Thomas was beyond helpful throughout the entire process. He helped to secure my unit at a great price, guided me throughout the entire application process, and made sure I had parking that fit my needs. The amazing customer service that he provides adds an extra element to the living experience at Modera that is VERY hard to find in other buildings. I am very excited to be a part of this great community!

My maintenance request was completed quickly, efficiently, by George. He explained the issue and what was done to resolve it. He was friendly and personable making the entire experience a pleasure. But then, that is what I've come to expect from all the staff here. Everyone seems to go out of their way to make living here a pleasure.

I recently visited a friend who lives in this community, and unfortunately my experience with the property manager, Jamie or Yammiee, has been consistently unpleasant. This is now my third interaction with her, and each time she has come across as extremely rude, passive-aggressive, and completely lacking in basic customer service. She doesn’t greet residents or guests, carries herself with a very mean and unapproachable attitude, and behaves as if she’s above everyone else in the building. It’s disappointing because the rest of the team has been wonderful maintenance is friendly, always says hello, and seems genuinely helpful.
