Modera Academical Village

We recently moved into this community and, on our very first day, discovered extensive black mold inside the kitchen cabinet and behind the wall next to the dishwasher. Maintenance later confirmed that the wall was saturated with mold and had a strong odor. This is a serious health concern, especially for families with young children. Manager Sahira Matos was dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to resolve the matter in a professional and proactive way. It is extremely disappointing to see such unprofessional handling of a serious health hazard, particularly in a property that should meet basic habitability standards. We hope corporate management takes this issue seriously, not only for our family, but for the overall safety, accountability, and quality standards of the community.

We a had great experience working with Walter, leasing agent. He was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right place. Every question we had answered quickly. I never felt pressured, just supported. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a seamless leasing experience! Beautiful property, well kept, my favorite is the salt room.
