Midtown Place Apartments

This place NEEDS to be shut down. If you don't want a slip and slide in your living room look elsewhere. The water boiler in the base floor units just leaks water into the floor. When we walk around you can hear the water that has pooled under the floor boards and not to mention the mold that has begun to fester. We have received more notifications that they are rescheduling maintenance then we have been able to get in contact with management. We have talked to our neighbors if they know a better way to contact them and they laughed at us and told us they've had a work order for black mold for 3 months now and they haven't even seen a maintenance worker. At the point we just want to leave this wet, stinky, moldy apartment but to break the lease we have to pay +$2,000 to leave this biohaza

Dumpsters are always overflowing with trash and furniture. Trash bags are constantly ripped open and searched through by the homeless and trash is left everywhere. It smells terrible walking up to the dumpsters

They wanted $850 for what plus $25 water and trash fee for this unfinished bathroom. no ceiling fan in loft. refrigerator not full size. kitchen missing trim in many places as well. counter top was different than advertised online, this one was speckled paint looked gross to match bathroom. there wasn't any bugs that I could see. tile had some mold that wasn't cleaned...could just replace with a liner for the price you're asking it's not clean.

Point Guard Management: What's the purpose of having management if they never answer their phones or respond to emails? I'm incredibly disappointed in how things have changed since they took over Midtown Apartments. We used to have reliable management that was always there when we needed them. Over the past 3 years, I've been so satisfied with our previous management. However, since Point Guard Management took over, I can't wait for my lease to end so I can move out. It's frustrating that they don't reply to emails or phone calls; it seems their only strength is in collecting rent.

Point guard management- Midtown place recently changed management and it has been a huge downgrade for all residents. People have complained constantly about getting charged $20 to pay rent online. There is no office on site to pay rent anymore, and when you pay by check to the drop-box they still charge you a $50 late fee even if you were on time. I loved Midtown and have lived here for 8 years, but I do think it’s finally time to go. If you like secure package delivery, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There is no guaranteed delivery unless it fits into the tiny mailbox OTHERWISE it will be sent back to sender or held at post office. It's been very disappointing.
