I was denied for a loan because of 3 numbers, the credit score. Mine wasn’t HORRIBLE but it needed work. Mr. Stotz look at my situation and looked beyond the score and actually talked to me like a human and not just a number. He went to work made sure all was good, and got me the loan. Did I mention I’m an Army Veteran who was even being turned down for VA loans because other banks have “score requirements “. Michael took it and ran with a plan that in the end worked for me and allowed me and my family to get the home we have put time and money into. Do NOT go through this company for your mortgage. I decided to work with them on a MSHDA loan. As a relatively young first-time homebuyer I didn’t have anyone to recommend a mortgage company to me. Getting a loan through them took MONTHES. I continually got my paperwork to them as soon as they requested it. The mortgage officer refused to communicate with my real estate agent. More than once I’d call my loan officer and she’d be half-paying attention to me, talking to someone else on the phone. They made it very obvious that I wasn’t a top priority. My offer was accepted on my home in early June. They pushed back the closing date numerous times. We were FINALLY able to close at the end of October. This is not for COVID reasons, it’s because their underwriters are incompetent.
