Michele helped me buy a house, sight unseen, through a 1031 Exchange. She was amazing--very responsive, great with communication and super attentive to details. Exchanges have tight deadlines and special restrictions. Michele was on top of every detail and kept me up to date on everything. She arranged and showed up for many inspections and estimates for repairs and was a great negotiator with the selling agent. Our deal came close to falling apart but she negotiated it back together, within the time frame constraints. We were introduced to Michele through a friend, and I can't speak highly enough about working with her. Before we moved from the east coast, she kindly met with us virtually to give us a lay of the land in terms of different neighborhoods in Portland, which was very helpful. After moving, we spent ~6 months seriously looking, and I think the process went about as smoothly as possible. Michele was very responsive by all forms of communication, and helped us to find new listings and quickly set up tours. It was tremendously helpful that she had a number of trusted contractors who were able to join us to tour some of the houses to get a sense of the scope of potential projects.
