I would not recommend this company for first-time home buyers. Firstly, I was very flexible and went into the process understanding that this is a rigorous one. FHM was to help me apply for grant money— for the small grant, they had, which I greatly appreciated, but for the larger grant (double the amount), they clearly dropped the ball on. Firstly, I was instructed to apply on my own so I was doing the legwork in vain— even after asking FHM about the process/each party responsibilities and not getting a clear answer in return. I later realized that their role was to walk me through the process so I would do my part, passed it over to them and they put the rest of the paperwork to it and submit it (like they had for another homebuyer I’m going to reference below).
