I lived in two different locations with MMG totaling about 7 years. Usually had positive interactions with the Property Managers. Maintenance was okay to get things resolved in my experience. As others have clearly stated though: do NOT expect to get ANY of your security deposit back. I spent a great deal of time cleaning and doing paint touch ups with the paint I was told to buy by my Property Manager yet I still got back only about half of my deposit. Admittedly, I missed some small cleaning things (baseboards in a few areas, one door had dust on it, & inside of the dishwasher). As a result, I was charged a massive cleaning fee. Secondly, the paint I was told to buy dried to a different color/sheen and was massively visible upon their inspection resulting in me being charged to repain

Maybe someone from the corporate office will call me to take responsibility. Since my emails are not getting anywhere! Your failure to properly communicate, and the unauthorized entry into my unit on June 25th to take out the AC widow out because you only have 3. No notice was given, and I was watched until I left for 25mins— this is not only a clear violation of my tenant rights, but also deeply inappropriate and invasive. We spoke on June 23rd, and you clearly stated, “he will go get it in the morning just so you can use it again.” That would have been June 24th, but no one showed up. Instead, someone entered without my knowledge or consent the following day. Additionally, I’ve reported repeatedly that my HVAC is not functioning. I’ve submitted photos showing indoor temperatures of 7

I lived at Berkshire Gardens (managed by Metropolitan Management Group) for 2 years and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. If you want to be neglected, ignored and charged for cleaning your apartment even when you leave it spotless, come on in! There was little to effort to communicate with me as a paying tenant. I had several major maintenance issues that came up during my time at Berkshire Gardens and they were rarely resolved in a timely fashion. I still have e-mails and notes of the times I contacted staff to request a resolution to my issues. I had a mouse infestation in my apartment caused by the squalid living of others and it took them 1 YEAR AND 59 DAYS to fix the holes where the mice were coming in. BEWARE, ALL APARTMENT SHOPPERS. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WILL NOT TREAT YOU LIKE A HUMAN. THEIR BBB RATING IS AN F!!! THEY HAVE 9 UNRESOLVED OFFICIAL COMPLAINTS! Want to move into a filthy apartment that has roaches and stained carpets for an inflated price per month? Then get evicted bc you brought this to their attention and they make the weakest effort to get rid of them due to being incompetent? Perhaps you're looking for an argument about said roaches bc the management team is just trying to justify their mistakes and pathetic "attempts" at taking care of tenants by making you feel like the problem! Look no further! This place will do all of that! Congrats on being the worst rated apartment complex management team in the area with disgustingly high monthly rates! You people should be so

Don’t be a sucker and rent from Metropolitan management group. All they do is take your money don’t care about their properties or their tenants and don’t expect A security deposit refund. They will deduct for the tedious things along with usual wear and tear of an apartment. They will have an excuse for any problem, maintenance, etc. so they can keep your money or not fix it or charge you for damages that were there before you moved in. So make a list and take pics of everything. Walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors every word and every action. Carpets and Padding our old, stinky, and stained from previous tenants. . So if you want to be a fool, go ahead and rent from them, but don’t say that myself and others haven’t warned you!
