Metal Works Apartments

I moved into Metal Works 2 years ago. My first year in the building was fantastic! Jessica the property manager was attentive and communicated quickly and clearly. I recently signed my lease for the upcoming year and truly am regretting it. There is a new property manager and she’s impossible to get a hold of. The elevator often breaks, the mail room has become full of trash and dirty floors, the fire alarm often goes off…the list sadly goes on and on. Most recently I got a letter on my door sharing that the building is changing companies with no notice. It’s all been very confusing. Most recently the website don’t work and I can’t even figure out how to pay my rent. It’s a disaster. NOT ADA COMPLIANT OR ACCESSIBLE! On my second day moving in I was told by everyone that the elevator frequently breaks, it’s now been 3 weeks and this morning they said it was fixed. It is still broken. There is no one available to talk to because they use an automated AI customer service system. 1/5 save yourself. I'm going on my second year here. When I first moved in, Jessica, the property manager, was attentive and responsive. It was a great experience and I had thought I'd want to live In this building for a couple more years. However, this year something has changed andespite having a great rooftop deck and being in a good location, the building itself has started to have a lot of issues. There's no office so when there's an issue, you have to email a system and an AI response comes back. The elevators have not consistently worked for the year that I've been here and now people are letting their animals use the hallway as bathrooms. It's unfortunate because it could be a very nice community for people, but The only thing that seems to matter here is paying the rent. The two free months rent is

I would not recommend this building for anyone looking. When I originally moved in the leasing agent was great and responsive. Now you cannot get a hold of anyone, leasing agent or maintenance, through the “automated” system they set up. The elevator is frequently broken, the fire alarm system is faulty, and they do not address parking issues in their garage. The rent is too expensive to deal with these issues. Do not rent here!!!

Poor property management service. Elevator keeps breaking down and stays out of order for weeks- no compensation to residents. Cleanliness is going downhill. Alarm goes off randomly in cold winter nights, apparently due to water leakage problem. No on site or accessible property management, everything is AI based.
