Merrill House Apartments

We have been residents of Merrill House for 6 years. In all that time we have had a few Maintenance Supervisors. Most were pretty good, but out of all of them, Ricardo rises head and shoulders above the rest! You can always find him working hard and smiling as he interacts with the residents. He provides STELLAR customer service!! You can always count on him to address your work orders on the same day, or the beginning of the next (depending on when the tickets are submitted). He is fast, efficient, and ensures that he leaves your home clean. You can tell he truly cares about the residents and the building. He is doing the job of 3 people by himself, but you'll never hear him complain! He deserves a promotion and a raise!!

I've lived here since my son was 4 months old he will be 4 years old this year and I've seen a lot of workers come and go from this place. Lauren has been the best to me since the 2 I loved were here. Lauren is so sweet and caring loves everyone here makes sure things are done and deals with a lot. I'm so tired of this place and how it's run now but she has made me happy.

Nice area, bad building. Nice people, worst management company -3 elevators, one works - 1/2 time but only to 6th floor as someone punched the 7th floor button in. This has been the case for prob a year or more now - elevator when working 1/3 of the time arrives soaked in urine, usually dog urine (I think) which makes it fun to play the “don’t step in poop” game with your 6 other neighbors - front door lock / unlock hasn’t worked in 2 or 3 years - prob for the residents’ own safety - hot water…. Works…. Occasionally… - always full of surprises: you never know if you’ll encounter roaches, ants, rats or mice, they come in various sizes and colors. Most are friendlier than the management company reps - leasing agent always listens attentively to complaints. Then does absolutely nothing

Ricardo is a great handy person to have in our building! Looking forward to more improvements. This is an old, beautiful building that needs lots of attention. Ricardo seems to get the job(s) done! The screen fell of the track and he fixed it quickly and made it even better.

I’m still paying 2100 for A STUDIO no closet space or storage space. Not even a real sink…. The bugs are HORRIBLE roaches crawling on me while I sleep and if you set ANY food down for longer than 5 minutes there’s ROACHES. Have already had pesticide ppl come twice… also MOLD in gym that was just covered up and mold on my ac unit that was just wiped off. Also rent goes up almost 100 bucks every year AND they just made half the parking lot ‘reserved’ so you have to pay more for that…. Also you only get ac for 4-5 months of the year. People that work the building are REALLY nice but this building itself is NOT worth the rent I’m paying. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else
