Customer Reviews
My now husband and I lived at Meridian Ballston Commons for several years, starting when we were dating and moving through three different apartments before buying our first home. It was genuinely hard to leave because this community truly felt like home. We loved living here and especially enjoyed the clubhouse activities and overall sense of community. Throughout every renewal and apartment change, William Smoot was absolutely incredible. He helped us each step of the way over the years and made every transition smooth and stress free. His professionalism, kindness, and consistency made a huge difference in our experience, and we are so grateful for him!
Overall happy with the building. Great location and solid amenities. The biggest con is the lack of hot water. Do not live here if you ever want to take a hot shower over 5 minutes. I have submitted multiple complaints and the issue is never resolved. Rent is too high to not have hot water. Also the street noise can be very loud especially when the truck comes to clear the dumpster. But the noise can be resolved with ear plugs. Unfortunately nothing to fix the hot water issue.
This is a great building in a great location. The staff is always friendly and professional. However, my recent experiences with lease renewal/transfer make me question my decision to stay. First, I think it’s asinine to flat out refuse to negotiate renewal offers down to market rate. I made an offer for my old unit that would have been almost $150/month over what I am paying for my new unit & I cannot for the life of me understand why that negotiation was not allowed, other than the inconvenience for me. Second, nowhere had the correct amount of rent owed for the prorated last month in my old unit. The first letter asked for nearly 4x what I actually owed. The second letter included fees I was no longer responsible for. Lastly, I got a message that my payment was “late” that cited a bal
I was a resident at the Meridian for almost 5 years and was extremely happy with my experience there. I've toured ALMOST EVERY apartment complex in Ballston and I chose Meridian, and have been very happy with my choice. I would describe this as the best "bang for your buck" place. If you want super luxury amenities, don't expect too much. However, if you value literally anything else, I would highly recommend the Meridian. But of course, there are also negatives, and I will delve into this later in detail. Despite the cons, my experience has been a 5/5. PROS: 1. The floor plans are fantastic. There are no weird pillars anywhere, exposed concrete, massive square footage (1200+ for 2bd), and generally no wasted space. 2. Location is HANDS-DOWN the best. It's across from so many different
My year at the Meridian at Ballston Commons has been wonderful! Quality amenities include a video-monitored package room, a clean fitness center with just about everything you need, a friendly concierge, a spacious club room with a billiards table and wet bar, as well as a rooftop pool. The 1st floor common areas have been renovated, which adds a modern touch to the building. If you have a dog, there's a dog washing station on the P1 garage floor. What's unique about the Meridian at Ballston Commons is that all of the units above the 3rd floor have sunrooms rather than balconies. This means you can enjoy that space all year round! My apartment specifically has high ceilings and hardwood floors in the common areas. It was renovated before I moved in, so I was able to take advantage of the
