Meadows at Homestead Apartments

I used to live here and I had ordered a package and mistakenly put this apartments address I tried to change it but unfortunately I wasn’t able to so I said it’s ok I know where this is and I’ll just ask the leasing office well when i eventually got the email my package was delivered I went into the office to ask for help and let’s just say the lady there first off had a very bad attitude with me and my wife saying “well we already have someone living there” with this I don’t want to help you attitude anyways she didn’t offer any help just searched up my name and said leave your name and phone number knowing that the package would be inside the mail room or at-least help me check the mail room but I wouldn’t expect her to go out of her way. So I toke the liberty of doing it myself luckily

Was told they were low income but they aren’t there is townhomes for cheaper than here. The kids around here are awful my kids have been punched and kicked for going on the play ground. My son was pulled off his bike by a dog on a leash and nothing was done. Things are stolen off my patio all the time. Management is ok not willing to help with anything. If you have kids or don’t have a ton of money don’t move here.

We loved the Meadows when we moved in three years ago. Our 3 bed 2 bath apartment is spacious, and the amenities like a pool and playground were perfect for our family! But over the past couple of years, the community in the Meadows has DRASTICALLY deteriorated. Children are bullying, stealing, vandalizing, and destroying property. We had to start documenting our experiences and we even purchased a camera. Things like physical violence toward my 8 year old, stealing a cell phone and throwing it in the sprinkler system box, stealing bikes, and vandalizing buildings, landscaping, and equipment. This all seems to go unchecked with no consequences, and it looks like there’s no end in sight with people being allowed to stay after multiple incidents. Look the apartments are nice and the maintenance staff are excellent. However, be prepared for a lot of shady things and hidden fees. They weren't upfront with the lease until we showed up with the moving truck and then they revealed that there was a washer/dryer fee and they could change the monthly rent throughout your lease, if you think the increase is too much and cancel your lease early then you pay 6 months of rent. It says low income but it's really actually compatible to other places around. They also advertise extra storage space on porches but they are so strict on what you can keep out there (or there will be fees) that you can't actually keep anything out there. Been here 2 years gotten to know the neighbors and maintenance pretty well people move in and out of here all the time, lots of traffic no speed bumps cars like to go really fast, dog poop all over the grass in all areas, broken sprinklers all over creating puddles and swarms of mosquitoes everywhere, the grass here is full of weeds the prickly kind so if the dog poop wasn't enough already dont walk on the grass, the dog park is basically a swamp filled will dog poop mosquitoes and wasps and weeds. I've had multiple great experiences with maintenance and fixing stuff in my apartment whether it be from past tenants of accidents from currently living here they fix it most of the time as soon as the next day.
