Meadowcreek Apartments

Had friends who lived here a few years back, rent was cheap about $750 now it's apparently $200 more and they want you to declaw your cats. Which I might mention isn't technically legal. Google it. I was thinking of moving here until I saw that. Sounds like it needs new management from all the other reviews before it goes under. No where to rent in South West Michigan that's nice anymore. They are just taking advantage of the housing shortage and it's sickening

I have lived here for approximately 3 1/2 years. I have had no problems besides lazy maintenance until now!!!! Recently I got an eviction notice (keep in mind I have never been late on a payment) because they claim I have over flowed my bathtub multiple times and they have had to replace the neighbors ceiling underneath me twice. I have NEVER once overflowed my bathtub!!! And never once received a call with them accusing me of this! My 2 year old is the only one who takes baths never over 6 inches deep!!! Instead of calling me, or looking for a broken pipe, or the real reason to why water is leaking down to the neighbors they just decided to send us an eviction notice with no explanation or anything. Lived here for 6 months now and I have no complaints. Needed some things fixed when I moved in and the were fixed right away. It's pretty quiet overall and my neighbors are all friendly.

Beware to future tenants, they require all cats to be declawed. They may claim to be “pet friendly” but have a strict policy enforcing an inhumane procedure. They claim it’s due to previous damages, but isn’t that what the $450 pet deposit fee is for?

Nice place to live. Seems to be friendly place. Has playground equipment for the kids.
