LONG BUT WORTH THE READ: I rented a townhouse in this complex from 2020-2024. I decided to move due to the continual decline in the community; both the neighborhood and school district became increasingly unsafe with drugs, and vehicle theft. A little over a month after moving, instead of receiving a deposit refund check in the mail, I got a bill charging me a balance for replacement of carpet. I was shocked that GRC Property aka Goralnik Reality (Meadowbrook Townhomes) would place the responsibility of replacing 4 year old carpet on the tenant! The property owner Nancy explained GRC expects 8 years out of new carpet, which is hilarious because they don't install quality carpet to withstand 8 years of wear and tear, nor do they clean the carpets AT ALL during the lease-term. I’ve been staying at the MeadowBrook Apartments sense September 1st of 2019. Sense my move-in date, I only needed 2 things fixed, in my apartment and they came IMMEDIATELY that same day to fix them within a few hours of calling the apartment manager. Secondly, The apartment manager showed me the before pictures of my apartment because the previous, renter was nasty and I’m gladly happy to say: they replaced the carpet and repainted all before I moved in. Lastly, once I moved in she told me that it was sound that was coming from the water heater. She said: they were thinking about replacing the water heater and they did within the first days of me staying at the apartment.

Please, i wanted to move here but whoever answered the phone sounded so rude and unprofessional like she didn’t like her job. I’ve heard numerous comments about this apartment complex, definitely about them being racist sadly and whoever is in the office being RUDE and disrespectful. Lord yall need to find new people with professional. If you can’t handle your job, seems like you need to work at a fast food

We have been living here for over 6 years. The ONLY reason we haven't moved is because the place is affordable and we actually like our townhome and the neighborhood. However, the management is HORRIBLE. When we first moved the office manager was amazing. She left and everything went downhill. If you call with an issue they immediately get an attitude and sound annoyed. Very unprofessional to act that way towards any tenant and especially to one that has paid on time every month for 6 yrs. I would not recommend unless you don't mind dealing with rudeness when you need something.

Horrible experience with apartment management. Flooding in basement not being addressed. Management doesn't want to clean carpets after flooding. Foul orders from backed up water in basement. Prejudice, racist actions, unprofessional, rude. Going out of the way to prevent children from enrolling in school. Refusing to let attendants know who real property owners are. Unwillingness to assist without attitude and being extra. Cars being broken into without being addressed.
