Alan and Sandy are a great team. Our 3,300 square foot home was designed by them. Then we hired them as the construction managers. Everything from start to finish was handled perfectly. We now have one of the most beautiful, functional and well-constructed "bunk houses" we could have imagined. Every detail was covered. Costs and time-frame for construction stayed perfectly aligned with the estimates. Since then, we have hired Alan to do some repairs to our main house after storm damage, and, unforunately, major repairs to the bunkhouse after termite damage. Recently he completed changing the screened-in back porch of the bunkhouse to enclosed with windows. We have never had a house built or a room addition but we decided to have a double garage with a full loft built. We hired McKay Enterprises, Inc. to do this work. They did quality work at a good value, were very professional, responded to all our requests in a timely fashion. McKay Enterprises built a two car garage on my property this year, it was a large 30X30 sq ft detached project. They took care of everything required to build it to include the County Permit always meeting the inspectors when they scheduled a time. Alan and Sandy both or professionals, courtesy, they kept me informed every step of the way that not only included date/times when deliveries were made by various delivery company's but each week sending me detailed to the penny costs of what had been done that week and the rest of what was to be done. Always return my phone calls promptly. Sandy gave me advice when I ask for it to help me with the style or color. My husband and I needed our second story porch rebuilt after finding out the product that was used as supports were never meant to be used outdoors! We called several construction companies for quotes and to find out what needed to be done. Well all three companies told us it was a TOTAL tear down. That meant new stairs, roofing,flooring ,screening, framing, and replacing the cultured stone. Like holly cow! The prices ranged from 42thousand to 68thousand.We didn’t understand why it couldn’t be done insections and save 90% of it.
