McClintock Homes

Worst experience living in a McClintock home! They don't understand their own HOA rules they set up for the neighborhood, so it ends up costing us thousands after an approved project was abruptly revoked with no explanation. Then upon selling, we find that they don't pay their bills and we lived there with a lien on the property from a supplier for over a year! Do not buy McClintock!

In February 2019 we entered contract to build with McClintock Homes in Denton. We worked with Pam throughout the process and she was wonderful to work with. Being first time buyers we had a lot of questions, but Pam did not hesitate to help us through out the process. Our home was completed at the beginning of June and it turned out beautiful. The builder, Joey, ensured that any imperfections that came up during the building process were taken care of ASAP. We are in love with our new home and would recommend McClintock Homes to anybody seeking their next home.

Our home was very poorly built, I DO NOT recommend using this company at all. Our home was suppose to be done in 6-7 months but wound up taking a full year. We had problem after problem with the builder, subcontractors, and lady in the office. We have been in our home now for 2 years and we have had so many problems that my husband has had to fix. Base boards are turning yellow from the bad material they used, closet doors aren’t on the correct way, tile has grout spots that they were suppose to have removed but never did, bathroom cabinets have drip marks that were never fixed like I asked. The list of negatives about this company can go on, but save yourself from choosing them.

I would not recommend McClintock to anyone looking for a new build. Poor quality and service on numerous issues - leaking faucets dead sod, and fence gate not large enough for a riding mower. Joey Amador was rude and very difficult to work with. Wrote complaint letters to Texas Builders Association and National Builders Association.

We are very happy to be buying our second home from McClintock homes. Joey, the builder has been great to work with. Our sales agent, Nicci, has been very helpful. We love her.
