Mayfair House Apartments

We have been here for over 15 years...I Love living here, it's a family oriented community. The apartment front office staff is very professional and attentive to your needs. Oh, did I mention the parties for Christmas, pool party, ice cream socials. The maintenance team are always prompt and "making you happy" is their goal.

Per the rules you can not have grills on your deck or patio and if you have it outside cooling used charcoal the employees will take it "THATS STEALING... THEFT IS THEFT AND THEY STOLE TOWING 24 HOURS A DAY NO VISITOR PARKING THEY JUST STARTED CHARGUBG FOR UTILITIES OUT THE BLUE THIS WAS AN ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED COMPLEX WHICH IS NOW TARGETING TENANTS IN A VERY DISCRINIMTORY MANNER PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEY ARE MAKING UP NEW RULES TO ENGORCE ON ONES THEY TARGET WHILE OTHERS BREAK LEASE AGREEMENTS BUT MUST BE FAVORED BY MANAGEMENT BECAUSE THE RULES AND POLICIES DO NOT APPLY TO THEM

I've been a resident at Mayfair twice- once for several years back in the late 90's, and again currently, going on ten years this time. Something that has remained consistent across both experiences is the quality of the on-site staff, from the front office, to the maintenance guys, to the janitorial staff who keep the common areas clean. They all care about this community and it shows. Buildings are swept and mopped regularly, and it's rare that you see any kind of trash blowing around the property. Maintenance requests are answered promptly and problems are sorted out as quickly as possible, no matter what it takes. Let's be honest here- this place is 60 years old (built in 1965!), so there are bound to be some problems, big and small. A few years ago, my disposal stopped working, and

My Brother lives here and says other than -Maintenance that one character- Its a reasonably priced residential community and very close to public transportation networks. Love riding the bus everywhere from a stone's throw off the front yard. Sadly I will be leaving for Springfield by this time next week, I enjoyed my 5 year lease here, ta ta for now, see you guys/ladies.

A few years a go they decided to charge me 500 dollors for damage to a carpet. However, there were no damages anywhere in the apartment nor on the carpet and I have all the pictures that prove it not to mention 5 witnesses. I will be filing a lawsuit soon against them since its been on my credit score for years now. Do not live there take this as a warning. Mayfair housing is a money first people last apartment complex. Furthermore, they dont care about thier residents. Be careful of the falsity of this business. They will find a way to charge you money even after you left. Even when they cant find a single issue wrong they will make one up. I am severely dissapointed and digusted by the actions of mayfair. I repeat only warning you get. Run, run and never go there.
