Matt is absolutely amazing I wouldn't go through another company he's always been very helpful never a time I've had an issue that he couldn't fix I see a few negative reviews on here and I just want to let everyone know I've rented from Matt since 2015 and never had any such issues he's always been willing to work with anyone having issues as long as u communicate with him as for deposits I received my deposit back with no problem I think the issue with that is people are just bad renters and slummy people clean the homes leave em the way u rented them and u won't have a problem getting your deposit back.... I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area over any other real estate business.....

We moved out June 16, 2025 and I deep cleaned the house for 2 days and my husband mowed and cleaned up the front yard and took the fridge and baby gate out. Our backyard was flood but we weren't even able to go back there because of snakes! So some wood and patio furniture was left back there. We have had issues with the receptionist when I told him we were planning on moving 3 weeks before we actually found a new house and he told us "you either pay rent in 3 days or get out" (we didn't say we weren't paying rent we were just letting them know we might be moving soon) then when we found a house the next month I called and the receptionist once again would not let me talk to Matthew Yancey said that we weren't getting the deposit back because we didn't give written statement that we were l

So far so good.. I applied to one of Matthew’s properties a few months back and due to my current landlord being a pain in the butt to deal with, she refused to answer or return their calls to give a reference. Fast forward to today, we’re pretty much desperate to get out of our apartment complex and into a house. I called Matthew’s office and explained the situation I’m in with my current landlord and how she doesn’t answer the phone (hence why we want to move because she doesn’t answer to fix anything that’s gone wrong) anyway, Matthew and his partner Alonzo were great and very understanding. Despite spending days cleaning meticulously—sweeping, mopping, and even replacing blinds—we were surprised to learn that the management company deemed it necessary to deduct the entire $600 deposit for a "deep clean."
