Market Heights Apartments

Am in the process of applying for an apartment for a family member. So far, the experience has been very positive. I have been to the leasing office twice and Jamar has been most helpful and pleasant. He has shown me two different apartments and the building we were in looked very clean. Ran into a couple of residents who were very friendly. I like the location, the kitchens, and the overall layout of the apartments. I also love how inclusive it is here. Seems like a good place to live.

I have lived here since these apartments were first ready for residents to move in March 2023 .. the first year I lived here I really didn’t have any problems except for the noise being out of control.. it always sounded like a herd of elephants were RUNNING around in the apartment above me!!! These past 2 years the noise is the least of my problem…. ITS THE ROACHES!!! I keep a clean apartment because I hate bugs I never had roaches until I lived here!!!! They are out of control … i have a 2yr old son and a 3month old son and I don’t sleep at night because I’m too busy making sure they don’t crawl in his crib or in my toddlers bed!!! It’s getting out of hand and something needs to be done I’m tired of going to the rent office every week!!! They barely spray I don’t even e see the purpose

Very nasty and disgusting apartments. I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever. Rent at your own risk. I moved in when they finished building the apartments and never thought it would get so nasty so quickly. The laundry room always has a smell and is never clean. People leave bags of trash in the stairways and in the elevator. The property manager/staff can be really unorganized at times and will not follow up with you on requests aimless u reach out first,(you will need to keep following up with them to get updates). The unit I lived in started off with an ant infestation when I first moved in, I ended up spraying and they were gone. After a year and a few months roaches started popping up.. and even after my unit was “bombed” the roaches still appear. While I was moving out my

Affordable does NOT mean trash dump. I wish I could say all of these photos are within the same week, but no. I also would like to note that the trash in the stairwell has been consistently provided by our neighbors BEFORE the compactor break and STILL since the front office FINALLY sent a memo on how to use the compactor. Numerous times we’ve informed maintenance and the office about people deliberately walking their trash to the stairwell and just leaving it. We’ve been met with “we’ll figure out and fine them” but the trash continues, so are you REALLY fining them? Do the cameras even work for you to investigate? Shame on you Lawson. The nerve of you to raise the rent before renewal time but the digital callbox STILL hasn’t been programmed. You took over two years to build a building

I’m very disappointed with my experience living here. The trash situation is a constant problem — the dumpsters are frequently overflowing, with garbage piling up around them for days at a time. It’s unsanitary, attracts pests, and clearly not being managed properly by the property. On top of that, the noise level is unbearable. The walls are extremely thin, and loud neighbors make it difficult to sleep or relax, especially late at night and early in the morning. Complaints don’t seem to make any difference, and there’s little enforcement of quiet hours. Between the ongoing trash issues and the lack of noise control, this apartment complex does not feel well-maintained or comfortable. I would not recommend living here unless these problems are addressed.
