Maple Ridge Apartments

These reviews scare me, especially wanting to tranfer from Florida to NC. I understand 1 or 2 unsatisfied tenants but 10 or more is undeniable. Definitely wont be applying here. Yall need to do better!!

This place is an absolute nightmare and joke. Only been living in my apartment going on 3 weeks, but have voiced my concern numerous times about heavy smoking from my neighbors in their unit, carrying over into mine. I have had the property manager and the new office lady, both admit to smelling it multiple times (in email and text) but they did an “investigation” today and funny enough, they said there was no evidence of smoking 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. Now they won’t give me the names of all involved in the “investigation”, and are ignoring my claims that it still smells like smoke. I could not make this stuff up if I tried, lol! Been here 6 years-was good when the old manager was here but now!!! I’ve been to the office several times about my floors-my baby girl has cut her foot on the corners where the carpet is torn and instead of them looking into it but I was told my rent would have to go up to the max to get these floors done. Water is leaking from my upstairs bathroom into my living room. Water leaks from somewhere upstairs into my pantry sometimes. My sink has broken 3 times and just replacement after replacement. Let’s not start with the issues of my stove. My power surges with more than two electrical things going.

Was working with Mrs. Brooke on an out of state transfer for 3 months before we were told that another Management came in and bought the property. He was guaranteed an apt on Ceprono street when the transfer was complete. Now that she is gone, my brothers job at Walmart from Tampa to NC was approved, his Working Sec 8 voucher is ported to NC and the new management has no idea how to handle and won't even see him to talk about it. He has 90 days to get an apt here before his voucher (that he's held for years and is almost impossible to get again) is no longer valid. If anyone has the new properties contact information, please drop it in a review. We would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Lived here for 3 years probably the best apartment complex I've lived at, bc of the manager Mrs. Brooke. I'm only moving out now, bc I'm living with my fiance & we're going to get a place together in Raleigh for work purposes. Like most apt complexs wt maintenance there's issues, here I don't think the heat really worked in the winter and maintenance didn't really fix it, but the a/c worked just fine, at my fiance's place opposite problem, and their maintenance never fixed the ac problem until they went under new management. Nice complex for the price, only thing that you may want to consider if you have kids there's no really play area so they're playing in the street and I've seen a kid's football hit my neighbor's car, luckily no damage was done.
